Message Installed my CZP 2.5 ic pipes. Getting ready for the SZ dyno-tuning day at the end of the month. Pretty straight forward. Everything fit fine, no issues. The ports on them that most people would use for the lines to the turbos also fit the snow water injection nozzels. This was a nice touch as I run a WI set up and didnt want to have to drill/tap or weld into the chrome. And the t-bolt clamps were the perfect size. I could take them apart and wrap them around afterward to install instead of having to slide them over the pipes first before putting them together.

SZ turbo outlet pipes.

This area is a tight fit. I had already ground away some material years ago, I couldn't remember why. I took off a little more to add more wiggle room. I also added a soft edge to avoid the pipe rubbing. I used an old door edge seal off a parts car and cut to fit.

I also added some padding where ever the pipes touched each other and/or rubbed on the frame or radiator. I got the foam seal at Home Depot years ago and has a peel and stick back.

I didnt really like the other set ups I saw people doing with how they were getting thier recircs to mount with the larger IC piping. Because of the difference in the location of the recircs, you cant really use the stock hoses anymore. Main issue is on the passenger side as things are now grouped even tighter together with the AC equipment, oil cooler, etc. I got the drivers side to work with stock hoses but the passenger side was a no go. So heres what I came up with instead.

I modified a set of stock recircs to mount a little cleaner and easier. I started by cutting off the lower portion of the 90 degree bend on the recirc. This allowed it to be mounted straight out, sort of like a bov. Also had to clock the return neck as well. These are just pressed on so once the screw is removed then can be moved. I used some loctite when putting them back together just in case. The mounting ears dont really need cut off to fit but I went ahead and did it and cleaned up the areas. After the pictures I had some small welds added to the bottom of the cut off portion to act like a bead to help hold the hose on. Hose fits pretty good as is though.

Hardest part was finding the right size hoses and especially in a tight 90. I got a 1 1/8" / 28mm 90 hose and a 3" straight 1 3/8" / 35mm hose. I cut the straight hose a little to make it shorter and cut the 90 to fit.

Then its a simple mount and clamp. Keep in mind I have a larger aftermarket oil cooler and I also have it moved back closer to the fan to help add some room for the dual intakes. Everything is tight on the passenger side but fits fine. A normal oil cooler set up would have even more room.

Engine is back in and I'm still putting everything back together. Hoping to fire it back up this weekend.
